Welcome!
Ardmory Vet Clinic opened in February 2009 and is situated in the Toryglen area of South East Glasgow. We aim to provide high quality dedicated care to all pet species and have extensive experience in the veterinary care of a large range of animals. The friendly, single-centre clinic is fully modernised and well equipped to provide a complete healthcare package to ensure the well-being of your pet.
We are a small team and this enables us to provide the best continuity of care for your animals.
Our vet is Michael Orsi BVMS MRCVS.
Our nurse is Laura McDonald RVN.
Our receptionists are Karen and Stefanie.
Unfortunately, we have very limited space to register new clients.
If you do have a new pet that you want to register, we will do our best to book you in but note that,
if available, registration health checks are made several weeks in advance and a deposit is required.
An animal is not considered to be registered with us until it has been examined by one of our staff.
We are unable to make emergency appointments or give telephone advice for non-clients.
We have been made aware of some online websites and apps offering to book appointments with us.
We do not use ANY of these businesses so please just call us directly on 0141 563 4788.
Since Covid-19 is still a highly infectious disease, we have made some changes to our processes
so that we can continue to provide care for our client's pets to the best of our capabilities.
All processes are taking longer so ask for your co-operation and patience.
We are permitting one client at a time into the premises so please arrive on time for your appointment and be prepared to wait outside. Clients are usually asked to remain in the waiting room while their pet is examined, except in certain circumstances. We hope that our clients understand that as a small practice, this is to ensure we can continue to provide the best possible care for their pets by keeping our staff safe.
We do our best to see animals at the booked time but emergencies or previous clients being late can cause some delays so dress for the lovely Scottish weather!
Please advise staff if you have any Covid 19 symptoms and we can consult with you outside.
In this case, it may be useful to write down information to pass to the vet.
